Hi all,
The forums have been updated. A number of new features have been introduced: Tags Threads can now be tagged, both by the thread starter and thread repliers. The best way to describe what tagging does is to show you. Click on the Search menu on the top bar of links, then click Tag Search. The bigger the tag, the more threads there are under that tag. Click on a tag to view all threads respectively tagged. If you don't add any tags to a thread, it will be automatically tagged for you. If you are going to add tags, please relate them to the thread you are making or replying to. Better user profiles! See mine, for example: http://www.yeadononline.org.uk/forum/member.php?u=1
Google search A Google Search bar has been added to the top of the forums. Advertisements The advertisements are back (I am afraid to say ). A fairly discrete advertisement will be displayed after the first post of each thread. They are displayed cleverly, and should be relating themselves to the content of the thread (like they are on the home site: www.yeadononline.org.uk). I'll try keep them as unobtrusive as possible.

Update from your webmaster
I started Yeadon Online when I was 12 years old. It was hosted on some free web space my father received from our Internet provider. This is what the website looked like in early 2000: 2008.08.17-14.44.34-73994F74-26B6-4511-8711-2EF940559513.png July 2001 (see Yeadon Online in the news: http://archive.thetelegraphandargus....16/136744.html) 1.png 2002 to date: http://www.yeadononline.org.uk/ As you can see, things have come a long way. Yeadon Online has taught me many things; not least to mention how to build websites! Yeadon Online is a project I hold dear, and continue (where I can) to maintain. This has been difficult over the last six years or so (with GCSEs, followed by A-Levels and followed by reading for a degree at the University of Bristol). Unfortunately, due to being starved of free time due to these other commitments, Yeadon Online has been starved too: the content and the site is not as fresh or as recent as what it used to be. Fortunately, I have now graduated from University (with a degree in Comptuer Science) and I have a job, as well as a lot more time to afford to my personal life and projects; most importantly this one. I have a number of plans for Yeadon Online; starting with a complete gutting of the existing website and its content. I would love to hear from everyone - what your suggestions are, what you would like to see on your local website, or even what you could contribute to it! Keep in touch, and stay tuned
